This past February, Brandon began the 4 year certification program to become a Certified Outdoor Lighting Designer (COLD) with AOLP. Brandon has been a member of AOLP since 2012, which is the same year he received his Certified Low Voltage Lighting Technician Certification. For Brandon, furthering his education by constantly attending continuing education courses and conferences is important so he can offer the best service and quality to his customers.
The Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals is an association made up of outdoor lighting professionals from the US and Canada with the goal to further the education and raise the standards of the industry. Unlike many other services, landscape lighting does not require any licensing, but AOLP offers professionals certifications that place them above others with extra training and education opportunities.
